1. Marketplace relationship
HayQuotes is a marketplace operated by TipMunk SASU that introduces hay buyers and suppliers. You remain an independent supplier and are solely responsible for your quote, inventory, hay quality, transportation, taxes, licenses, insurance, invoicing, payment collection, and fulfillment. HayQuotes is not your employer, agent, carrier, or party to the direct sale.
2. Accurate, complete quotes
Your quote must accurately identify the quantity available and priced, unit, bale format, approximate bale weight when applicable, hay description, fulfillment method, currency, timing, and one final total for that quantity. A delivered total must include every charge required for the stated delivery service. A pickup quote must not imply that delivery is included. Notes may explain an offer but do not replace the required form fields.
3. Selection and direct contact
If the buyer accepts your quote, HayQuotes sends one introduction and order-action email to you and one to the buyer. Each email releases the other party's contact details. You agree to contact the buyer promptly and finalize payment, delivery or pickup, and any permitted changes directly.
4. Marketplace fee
Submitting a quote is free. For one-time purchase requests, HayQuotes earns the displayed marketplace fee, currently 5%, only when you actually receive payment from a buyer introduced through HayQuotes. The fee applies to the full amount received for the completed order, including hay and related services in the final agreement.
For requests labeled Recurring supply or Looking for a long-term supplier, the disclosed fee is a one-time $500 success fee in the quote currency. It becomes due only after the buyer selects you, the first transaction is completed, and you have been paid. HayQuotes charges no fee on future orders between that same buyer and supplier relationship. You may not evade an applicable fee by moving, renaming, splitting, or delaying a transaction introduced through HayQuotes.
5. Report payment and three-day review
Use the private order link in your introduction email to confirm whether you contacted the buyer, then mark the order scheduled, completed, or cancelled. After the order is completed and the buyer pays you, enter the final order total. HayQuotes calculates the fee from that amount and waits three calendar days before issuing a Stripe invoice. Use the same page during that period to report a cancellation or an issue. Fees below USD/CAD $100 are held and are not invoiced individually.
6. Changes, cancellations, and disputes
If the final quantity or price differs from the quote, report the actual total received. If the sale does not complete, promptly mark it as no sale. You must cooperate reasonably with record verification and dispute review. Knowingly false payment or no-sale reports may result in suspension, collection activity, and responsibility for reasonable enforcement costs where permitted by law.
7. Quality, safety, and legal compliance
You must describe hay truthfully and disclose known material defects, contamination, rain or storage damage, or other conditions that could affect suitability. You are responsible for complying with applicable feed, transport, weights and measures, tax, privacy, anti-spam, and consumer-protection laws.
8. Communications and data
When you join the supplier network, you consent to email messages for matched opportunities and marketplace operations. SMS opportunity alerts are optional and require separate consent; message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Private links and buyer information may be used only for the relevant transaction and must not be shared or used for unrelated marketing. 9. Incorporated terms
The HayQuotes Terms of Use, including its disclaimers, liability limits, acceptable-use rules, and change provisions, are incorporated into these Supplier Terms. If there is a conflict concerning a supplier fee or supplier quote, these Supplier Terms control.
